Terms and your data

mini.autoplay.live is a small arcade of web games from autoplay.live. There are no accounts, no adverts and no cookies, and nothing from another company watches what you do here. This page says everything the site keeps when you play, what it is for, who sees it and how long it is kept.
Plays
Each game keeps one running total of how many times it has been played. Nothing about who played, or when, is kept with it. Everyone can see each game's total, on its cabinet. The totals are kept for as long as the site runs.
Scores and names
When you send a score from a game's end screen, the site keeps the name you typed (up to 12 letters, numbers or spaces), your score, the game and the time it was sent. Nothing else goes with it: not your address, not an account, not anything about your device.
- A new name waits until we have checked it. While it waits, only we can see it.
- Once we release it, your name and score show on that game's scoreboard: its top 20 of all time and its top 20 of the week, the week starting on Monday. The scoreboard shows only the name and the score, never the date. A score leaves the week's list on its own when the week ends.
- A name we have released once goes up straight away each time it is sent again, for any game, until we stop approving it.
- A name we will not show is deleted, with its score. Only a random number is kept, so that the same score cannot come back.
A score we released stays until we take it down. A score that went up straight away under an approved name is deleted once it has fallen off both lists.
Bug reports
A game's bug button lets you tell us what went wrong. A report keeps your words (up to 2,000 characters), the game, the time it arrived and a few details the game adds for you, so we can find the bug. Each game chooses its own details. Don't Count Your Chickens adds:
- its version, and where you were in the game: the day and how far into it, what you were doing (loading, driving, at a shop and so on), the weather, your money, how many chickens and crates you had and how damaged your truck was;
- your screen's size and sharpness, and whether your phone was held upright;
- the text your browser gives to say which browser and device it is;
- the game's quality setting and whether its sound was off, the page you were on and the time you sent it.
Your address is not kept with a report. Only we read reports, to fix the bug, and we may copy one into our own notes on the game while we fix it. Nobody else can see them. A report is kept until we have dealt with it, and then it is deleted for good.
Your address
When you play, send a score or send a bug report, the site sees your internet address. It uses it for one thing only: to stop one visitor sending too much. It counts one play and one score for each game every half hour, and five bug reports an hour across all the games.
Your address is only held in the play counter's memory while it does this. It is never written to a file. A newer, longer address (an IPv6 one) is cut to its first half, which names your home or phone network rather than your device. It is forgotten within a minute of its half hour or hour being up, whether or not you come back, and all of them are forgotten whenever the counter restarts.
The servers' own logs
The site is delivered by a network of servers, Bunny, and by our own web server. Like most, they keep their own ordinary logs of the requests they answer, which include the visitor's address, for as long as their own settings keep them.
In your own browser
The site sets no cookies. A game keeps a few things in your own browser, so that it remembers them next time: in Don't Count Your Chickens, your best count, a game you have not finished, the names you have sent and your quality setting. The game reads these from your browser for itself; nothing reads them from there for us. Some of the same things reach us only when you send them, as above: a name with the score you send, and where you were in the game and its quality setting with a bug report. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes what is kept there, and leaves what you sent.
Taking something down
There is no account, so there is nothing for you to delete yourself. To have a name or a score taken down, or a bug report deleted, email support at autoplay.live and say which game and name, or roughly when you sent the report.
Using the games
The games are free to play in your browser, as they are. They may change, or be taken away. Please send a name that is kind: we do not show one that is rude.
If what is kept changes, this page changes with it, and its date above says when.
